I will always recommend the Ruffwear harnesses for dogs over 15lbs. My dog and I are avid day hikers, and it has been my favorite outdoor harness we have tried.
With four points of adjustment, you are sure to get a perfect fit. It is padded for extra comfort. It is great for those bigger, strong dogs. And as durable as it is, it is not bulky so it can be used for everyday walking as well. This harness is easy to put on and take off. It has two buckles on either side of your dog’s chest so you do not have to put their foot through one side. The Front Range Harness has two attachment points; between the shoulders and on the chest. There is even a pouch on the top of the harness to keep tags secure and quiet.
Here is a great video on how to properly fit your dog with the Front Range Harness:
I love this harness because no matter how hard my dog pulls, the harness stays in place and it doesn’t stretch or readjust. And if the harness is dirty after a long day of hiking and exploring, I can just throw it in the wash. I’ve washed mine several times and it has held up very well and dries quickly.
