The Dog Pause
Give Your Dog a Break!
Located inside Dogologie, The Dog Pause offers an affordable place to safely leave your dog while you enjoy dining, shopping, events, and much more in the Hill Country.
We offer the use of clean comfortable crates with soft mats and fresh bottled water, a place to store your dog's accessories, video camera surveillance, and soothing sounds to reduce any anxiety. A doggie bag is supplied for required breaks, with a map of acceptable break locations in the area.
We are now taking reservations for dates after September 12th, 2019. Dogs can stay up to 4 hours at a time before you must take them on a required break. Spaces available for dogs up to 100 lbs.
Hours:
- Sunday: 10 am to 4:45 pm
- Monday - Thursday: 10:30 am to 5:15 pm
- Friday - Saturday: 10 am to 5:45 pm
Prices: $6.00 a hour per crate.
Stroller and Carrier Rentals
Enjoy your stay in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area by renting a stroller or carrier for your dog! Most merchants allow your dog inside if they are enclosed, and it makes for a more enjoyable Fredericksburg experience. Remember to always ask before entering an establishment to make sure your pet is welcome.
We do require a credit card as a security deposit for the strollers.
