Dogologie is excited to announce that we have a Dogologie Approved Trainer on board with us! We are in the beginning phases of this amazing partnership, but we hope that our community welcomes Kierstin, owner of FAZ Dog Training, with open arms.
MEET OUR TRAINER
Kierstin is a Fredericksburg local with a passion for dogs. She received her Canine Training and Behavior Specialist certificates from Starmark Academy where became a graduate after the intensive 480 hour training program. Her passion for animals started when she got involved in fostering dogs over 9 years ago. Since then, she has worked within different positions at pet resorts, vet clinics, and an animal shelter.
Kierstin focuses on improving the relationship between the pet and the owner by using the simplest form of training: motivation. A dog should receive an appropriate response to their actions and using motivation can help enforce the good behaviors and stopping negative ones. Since each dog is different with how to motivate them, she will work with each case personally to find the most effective training tools and techniques. And while getting your dog to be more obedient is important, Kierstin also wants to make sure you, as a handler, feel comfortable and knowledgeable with every tool you use with your dog.
We offer a free phone consultation with Kierstin to discuss you and your dog. We want to make sure we're setting you up for success. It's important for you to feel comfortable and confident before we begin training. She will also do an "in person" consultation for a small fee.
Our Private Lesson program is perfect for owners who want to be involved in the training. We design the one on one training sessions around your behavior goals & utilize our techniques with you in the comfort of your own home.
